Hatcher Pass: Fishhook Trailhead

Purple lupines in the summer and red fireweed in the fall, this easy to access hillside offers a breathtaking range of colors as the seasons change. Follow easy winding paths through tall brush and blueberry bushes, straying as far or staying as close to the parking lot as you like to find different views of the surrounding mountains. This trail is typically accessible June-October with a  $5 parking fee (or Chugach Park Pass) but no bathroom access.
