North Fork Eagle River

A glacier fed river with mountain views and beautiful trees, this location is pretty popular during the summer months. The landscape of this area varies widely year to year based on how much snow we got and how fast it melts - at some points there's a beautiful little sandy beach area and tons of driftwood along the river, other times the river comes all the way to the tops of the grassy banks. About a mile flat walk back to river from parking lot + outhouses ($5 parking fee, or Chugach Park Pass).
